Invitations: Send out invitations at least three weeks in advance so parents can save the date. Make sure to include date, time, and locations as well as a note instructing all attendees to wear their favorite princess outfit/jewelry/tiara! Décor: Visit your favorite party supply store for some great decorating ideas. The mural you see in the movie was just taped to the wall and instantly transformed a boring dining room into an enchanting castle. You can also find tablecloths, napkins, and paper plates there. I found some great little princess tea cups at the dollar store – these were a big hit and we use them for all of our tea parties! Food: Instead of a cake, I went to the local bakery and had giant tiara sugar cookies made. If you are handy in the kitchen, you can make your own. At the craft store, we found several great icing colors as well as sprinkles and candy for decorating. It’s a fun, interactive activity and tastes good too. Use pink Kool-Aid for princess tea!
